Dear Attorney General Levi Peter,

Inquiring minds might want to know where I obtained this information, you can look no further than the website of the government of The Commonwealth of Dominica. Nationalsecurity.gov.dm

To further aid you in your understanding of my position I will define some key aspects that should have been easy to adhere to when dealing with my family, especially my three youngest children. Again, let me define what you and your chamber should be, “Honorable.”

“The Honorable” is a recognition of honor in the United Kingdom, the countries of the Commonwealth, and the United States. It is taken from the French honorable and ultimately derived from the Latin honorable (“worthy of honour”). The term applies to a person with a high position, worthy of respect, or of high morals.

The position that you hold and that your office is suppose to uphold requires the understanding of honor. Honor by what standard is the next logical question, as it has become quite clear that there is a serious lack of understanding in our modern time. Where should we start then? We start with the Word of God as defined in the Bible; beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. Secondly the Constitution of The Common Wealth of Dominica.

The Bible: All creatures are to honor God. In Genesis 1 we read about how God created all things, even creating humans in God’s own image, known by the theological definition of the imago Dei. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. We are to honor our Creator by honoring one another, male and female. This honor is to be extended to Christ above all men, as He is the ruler of all nations, even Dominica. There is so much more, as we will see in my follow up letters.

The Constitution of Dominica: Whereas the People of Dominica have affirmed that the Commonwealth of Dominica is founded upon principles that acknowledge the supremacy of God, faith in fundamental human rights and freedoms, the position of the family in society of free institutions, the dignity of the human person, and the equal and inalienable rights with which all members of the human family are endowed by their Creator.

It appears that we have much to think on and I have even more to write about.

Until my next letter,

-Jason Grogg
